IBA makes a girl squad

IBA is new starting a girl squad and the coaches that will take care of the players are:

Li Wenyan:

Li Wenyan, has been a professional badminton player for 17 years, and has played and trained in the Chinese National team from 2000-2005. She has trained with most of the top professional badminton players incl. Lin Dan and Wang Yihan and was assistant coach for the girls group in Bayi Chinese Badminton Team. From 2006 she has played for top elite clubs and worked as a coach with junior groups in different clubs in Denmark. She can give players a mix of different training methods from Asia and Europe. Our coaching can accommodate any age or level and can improve both technique and tactical play, our goal is to help players reach their full potential.

Michael Kjeldsen

Danish Under-22 national coach for five years and leader of talent development in Denmark in the years 1994-1999.  He has been working as headcoach for IBA since 1999. Educated at Aarhus University.

Matilda Petersen Swedish Champion in Lady single

Matilda Petersen won the 3. February 2013 The Swedish Championship in Lady Single after beeting Christine Petterson in the final. Congratulation Matilda. You first big achievement as a senior player.

Aske Lauritsen winning in Erritsø

After both beaten Mathias Moldt Baskjær and Patrick Bjerregaard in the early stage, he beat Mathias Mundbjerg in the semifina and Rasmus Gemge in the final.

Kasper Ødum: New prices for massage

Since June 2008 the IBA had the pleasure of having Kasper Ødum not only as a full time badminton player but also as a masseur. Kasper Ødum has a diploma in masseur from in Copenhagen, Denmark. produces certificated masseur and IBA is very gratefully to have Kasper on its team. This season Kasper has been working as an assistant coach and masseur. From 1. March the prices are:

1 hour massage 250,- DK

30min massage 150,- DK
